Welcome to the department of science of our school.
Science improves the scientific approach of student and it build innovative ideas in them.Yong generation is very fast and clever. They have tremendous innovative ideas. Our aim is to mold these ideas for better India. We take sincere efforts to inculcate scientific approach and make them curious and draw fruitful conclusion. For innovative ideas every year we take part in science exhibition. Our aim is to develop the skill of problem solving and to give them conceptual understanding. Our school has big laboratory to check/verify the laws given by various scientist. To give social awareness our students take part in pulls polio vaccine camp in Chikhaldara region. They also explain the importance of cleanliness to avoid malaria and dengue. Our school has library and the facility of news watching along with internet facility. Student collect scientific information from them and discuss with teacher.

Mr.R. P. Charjan

Mr. U. A. Pande

Mr.H. V. Pethkar
Our junior scientist participated in various science related program. Our achievements are as follows.
1) 2005:-
State level science exhibition was held at Buldhana. Mast. Shrikant Zagde and Mast. Shoib Sheikh prepared a project named as “MOSQUITO REPELLENT”. Under the guidance of Shri. Hemant V. Pethkar. We represent from secondary group. The project was very simple. The principle of this project is that when the frequency of wings of mosquito match with the frequency of this electronic circuit mosquito unable to fly. This minimizes the problem of diseases cause by mosquito like malaria and dengue.
2) 2006 :-
School represented 14 NATIONAL CHILDREN SCIENCE CONGRESS 2006 held at Sikkim Manipal Institute of technology Majitar, Sikkim. The team members are
- Vipul Ghanbahadur
- Rakesh Rajgopal
- Devdatta Gaigole
- Upendra Bidkar and the leader of group is Mast. Alok Mishra
The project was conducted under the able guidance of Dr. Mahesh Chikhale.
The title of the project was “BIODIVERSITY NEAR CHIKHALDARA – VICTIM OF ROAD TRAFFIC”
The team observed number of butterfly die daily due to road traffic. This is supposed to be the victim. They thought is there any effect of these dead butterfly on environment. Group discussion with Dr. Mahesh Chikhale got the idea of research. Already Dr. Chikhale had an experience of preparing thesis he ask team to collect data in Chikhaldara region. Team member follow guidance of Dr. Chikhale. They took photographs along with the sample and number of dead butterfly. The observation is that there is serious effect on pollination of particular plants by this. Their hard work reach to the national level.

3) 2006:-
Our school was first winner from state this year.
4) 2007 :-
Not only students and teacher but also our laboratory assistant Dharmendra Vikasrao Bhide represents his model at State level science exhibition held at Yavatmal.

5) 2010 :-
Thirty fifth science exhibitions were held at Akkal Kua in Nandurbar district from 28 Jan to 1 Feb 2010. Mast.Gaurav Soni and Mast. Abhishek Khare done the project named as Growing life from waste water under the guidance of Shri. Unmesh Pande. It was actually a water treatment plant from which we can convert waste water into potable one. Water has to be pass through various containers which contains medicinal plants. The project was Eco-friendly. It does not have any chemical treatment on water.

6) 2011 :-
Year 2011 was declared as International year of Chemistry. Senior college of Chikhaldara organizes competition to draw periodic table.
Our student Rohit Biswas stood first in Tahsil level.
